A bridge among barricades
A bird among bears
Love is free, love is peace
Trust from a tired heart
Energy from an exhausted mind
Love connects, love supports
A shoulder dampened from rainy days and teary eyes
A shining soul in a graveyard of angry minds
Love's upbeat, love's patient
A poem; chicken-scratched alongside notes from class
Offered with an open ear after hours of lectures and lessons
Absorbed with a worn spirit of ambition
And yet there is nothing as worth the time
And everything else as doable
But done #BecauseILoveYou
