A Love that is Brighter.

When the pressure is on, they understand.

When life makes you weak, they will hold your hand,

Hold open the door, hear you play guitar,

And see you and know you for who you are.

They look up at the stars and see you there,

Gently brushing their fingers through your hair.

They sit up with you through the hardest nights;

They run from darkness with you to the light.

They never turn away, always there for you:

Someone loyal, kind, and bright through and through.

They quietly offer a warm embrace

And wait for a smile to light up your face.

Please hold these people close, deep in your heart

And pray that you never will have to part.

If they treat love like the gems they compare to your eyes,

Then their love is brighter than the sun in the skies.
