A Love That Can Drive Out Hate

I stand and say how I feel,

Discrimination is a big deal!

I have experienced it in many places,

Between gender and races.

You can see it on many faces

Anger, rage, distress, it chases-

Around each corner like a day with no sun

When all's said and done

I am amazed and stunned

The people filled with sorrow,

Hopefully it's better tomorrow.

It fills many with rage,

We need to start a new age.

To solve our problem-

We must first acknowledge it,

Then we must speak up and be heard.

We  must also know our self worth.

From where Dr. King once sat;

"Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
