Love Cannot Be Claimed

Take me in your arms

Hold me tightly,

We together are as free

As the birds that may fly in the sky,

Your strength is a guide to our destination

Watching time slide by,

The music beating from our hearts

Lead by the rhythm of whim,

Dare we take the leap

Everything else may come and go,

For I know you my darling

My heart beats with yours,

Together in our paths

Nothing else matters,

As you hold me tightly

The storms may move in,

You look at me with your soul filled eyes

To show our future here and now,

What everyone says is not love

For love cannot be classified,

Cannot be claimed

Elvis may do his best,

Til Death
