Love is for children and fools

Bite the apple with appearances of smooth freshness

underneath the promise of sweet

Hanging upon a branch caressed by the sun, bathed by rain, until

growing

growing

growing with change

Held in hands once it is time

with mouth open

the bite...

Reality sets in at the bitter taste

with a wiggling worm  revealed as another wasp so very representitive of human emotion

flies away..

Which is more real in the representation of love?

A shriveled apple core discarded on the street?

Or,

the illusion of hope with an apple blossom budding on the stem in spring?
