Love is Commitment

Love is not a feeling,

for feelings fade.

Love is not powerful enough;

too many people think they are in the midst of it.

Love is not conditional,

because it is a commitment. 

Love is not lust; 

lust is sinful.

Love is not temporary;

it is engraved in the heart.

Love endures all storms.

Love is supportive.

Love is humble. 

Love is respectful,

but it is never perfect.

Love is messy,

but it is forgiving.

Love will be life-long if there is forgiveness.
