Love Conquers All

You grab my arm, stopping me from leaving Let go But you don't, instead you pull me closer. At that moment I forgot about your mistakes, My mistakes. Everything around us stops, as our heart beats in sync. You say "You're sorry", I say the same to you. 'Cause running away from something so real would just darken our souls. He understands how much I love him. He knows I love him with all I got. My body trembled as he whispered "I love you baby" in my ear, ever so softly. We went to bed together, the moonlight glistening on our bodies. Holding each other so tight, so close. Never wanting this love to ever die. At the end of each day. Love conquers all.
