Love, defined.

love is defined as an intense feeling of deep affection

but everyone has their own definition

some say love is a joke

while some might claim that love is all you in need in life

that love equals happiness

but to me

love is defined by you

love is how i explain that your voice is my favorite song

that you are my favorite color

love is open communication

trusting eachother with the good things and the bad

feeling safe when you're with them

home is given a new meaning 

now it's not always four walls and a doorbell

but two eyes and a heartbeat

love is wanting to grow old with you

seeing a future and invisioning a life with you

love is watching old movies and staying in for the night

making popcorn

but being to distracted by eachother to eat it

baking cookies with you at 2 p.m. and 2 a.m.

sitting on the kitchen floor

laughing at the chocolate on your face

love is walking around Target for three hours but not buying anything

love is your hand in mine

love is laughing with you and crying with you

being with you through the best of times

and the worst of times

love is innocent and spontanious

scary and surprising

but i wouldn't give it up for the world

because i love you
