Love, Depression, and Friends

There once was a girl who fell in love twice.

The second time worse then the first.

For, she has been bullied her whole life because of her looks.

Her first love, however, is taken.

After this, she became depressed.

But then she made friends with a boy.

This friend of hers helped her cheer up and see hope.

Her other friends also helped her.

After a while she got over the first love.

But what she does not know, will hurt her.

For, her new friend, she soon falls in love with.

This time, however, he loves another.

The second makes her even more depressed.

So her friends stay by her side and help her to see happiness.

This is very difficult though,

Making her friends slowly give up trying.

That is, all except one.

Her new friend does not give up.

She feels better on and off, then one day asks him something.

"Why do you not leave me like the others?

After all of the mean things I have said to you, how do I

not drive you away?"

He looks at her and says

"Because we are friends. Friends help friends to feel better when they are sad, no matter how

hard it may be. Especially when that friend is as depressed as you. I may not love you like a

girlfriend, but i do love you as a good friend."

She looks at her surprised and says nothing.

After that he continued to help her through it.

Then one day when she woke up, she no longer felt depressed.

She waited a few days and still, no depression.

She told her friend and he said this,

"Do not give up. You will find that special someone. Just have faith."

This story, believe it or not, is true.

It shows that no matter how depressed or alone you feel.

No matter how sad you feel,

There is always one person who stays with you through it to help.

Whether it is your family, a friend, or someone else.

There is always someone.

I find that, to be awesome.
