Love in Disguise

He walks in the room,

Wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.

His shoes are tattered and worn.

He's not the most desired,

Or at least not admittedly.

We all want to know him,

We all want to have him.

Hate is his enemy,

Friendship is his twin.

He lives amongst us,

He's like you and me.

We throw his name around

Like it's no big deal.

But when we meet the right person,

He's all you can see.

When I first met you,

We only knew his twin.

As time progressed

His image became clearer.

He was what I wanted,

He was what I needed.

I want the brown shirt guy,

He's my love in disguise.
