Love Does Not Exist

You disguise the rocks beneath me as gold

The airplanes as shooting stars

A pigeon as the phoenix

A numerical miracle always on repeat

But now I stand in front of you

face to face

In the flesh I see you

As real as can be

I stare you right down and say

You do not exist

And with the quickness of the wind

you are gone

You do not exist

You do not exist

You do not exist
