Love Doesn't Last

What do we do when we find another? You don't deserve the right to be called a mother Who's to blame if we don't even respect each other And then I wonder.....why we even bother?. (Yeah....yeah) (Hook) Baby, I don't blame you. You shouldn't be ashamed to Love another person that's changed you It was your fault, as well as mine We both committed what's known as a love crime Our love was only worth two dimes But it's already been too long of a time We can't go and change the maybes, The " I should've changed me" I can't bear this pain in me What'll happen to us, baby? And right then and there, it's gone. When people believe love's taken over their lives They feel the pain of being stuck in a world of demise They don't see what's been encrypted inside of their eyes They just listen and ignore the people who cry They didn't believe that that person would lie And now people wonder why love is so scarce? It's because of everyone who misuses the word of "love" Thinking that they'll always feel happy and joy Yes, you're a girl and he's a boy. That doesn't make love last, What happens if he's not the "one"? Do you just continue on? Chorus: What do we do when we find another? You don't deserve the right to be called a mother Who's to blame if we don't even respect each other And then I wonder why we even bother?. (Yeah....yeah) Baby, I'm not the "one" You're not what I was looking for There's no point in feeling so alone I'll just pack my my things, and I'll leave from the front door There's no point in continuing the hate It's time that we go our separate ways I'll never forget our first date, But I'll forget the misery we had for days Let this be a lesson, to all the children Don't ever fall for the tricks of love, Only you'll know when it's time, and you've had enough Don't let anyone try and change you They just be endangering you Don't worry about what people"ll say of you It's just people who've always hated you True love may never last, but until then, continue to be yourself And I'll continue to relieve myself Tell me why I'm always alone, Finding myself to be so gone Reality may never be true But imagination is the dreams that make you Now, find your inner self And screw the person who said no to you Now continue with life, it's precious And maybe one day, you'll see what love means, But until then, don't wait for that essence.
