Love Endures

I've never really noticed time
running from the past.
Making every memory
from moments lost too fast...

Every breath we shared,
every beat within your heart,
brings both tears and smiles
to my eyes when were apart.

My days may seem too long,
too dark as clouds lay low.
For on the day you left me,
the sun had lost its glow.

But the sun will come again,
and i will revel at the sky.
For in my life there's beauty
in this love that cannot die.

And although your soul has gone,
and here without you i'm alone.
I can feel your love around me,
for in my heart, your heart is home.
