Love Is Eternal

As my vision begins to blur I notice the imperfections in my
surroundings. The voices inside my head begin to drain those on the
outside holding the ignorance captive. Now I mumble and only here the
whispers of myself. The war of my breath against the wind triggers the
the throbbing of a pulsating heart. My nerves with inviting arms wrap
around a cloud of innocence. Who am I to judge the weight of the world
when I myself have left a burden to be carried. Who am I to look beyond
the wonders of life? Who am I to question the question of doubt? I am no
one. I am nothing. Nothing but a body filled with thick layers of
memory know in my histories of sacrifice there will be futures of
hope. I know that in my fields of growing curiosity there is a path
leading to vast oceans of confusion. This path I am creating is full of
mystery yet reads few words of certainty. Secretly I look past the
cracks on the surface and come to find that you, are my weakness. You are
the melting ambition dripping through the tough phases of my days. I
struggle to stand when your only purpose seems to make me fragile. I
struggle to speak as my stomach ties into knots when your smile
imprisons my sanity. Above my loss of words and the fear of my pain is
an image of you. A living organism who I have come to love. An organism
whose power is stronger than that of any other. With the slightest touch
you can weaken my knees. With the slightest of a kiss the force you once
took away is once again restored. Only you can grant me a universe of
satisfaction. Only you can sponsor the support I need for a stable
mentality. But only you can push my guilt to shame. Oblivious to my past I
am eaten alive by the empty space left for you to fill. When both our
bodies touch our worlds collide into one. I am afraid that this privilege
of having you beside me will later become a quality of life in which I
need to survive. Strongly I vow to the demons of love and pray that you
will accept the challenge of keeping me alive. Guilt or not, I am asking
be beside you. After all, one can be forgiven, but never forgotten.
