The Love That Exists

No I do not want your winter’s rose. No I do not want your summer’s willows. I want what grew from fruitful meadows and what blossoms when it snows.

No I don’t want fame, no this is not the same. I want what put my heart aflame.

I want what could change me slowly, I want what all the signs show me.

No it doesn’t make any sense, it keeps me in suspense. It came from the last place I’d expect, and if left unchecked my thoughts and feelings will take effect. I want the love that can give you anything and asks for nothing in return.

This love that exists can tear our lives apart or bind us forever. It can turn the worst into a kiss, it can change our words into bliss.

No, love has no fear, but why do I? No, love makes no sense, but why does this?

I want you.

I want the love that hides in those Hazel-Green eyes, I want the love that’s encase in your embrace. I want the unsung love as it slides off your tongue.

I want you

No this space between, can’t be just a dream. Something deep down inside, I must abide. All my soul’s pride set aside, I want to be by your side, and you as my bride.

No I do not want your winter’s rose. No I do not want your summer’s willows. I want what grew from fruitful meadows and what blossoms when it snows.

I want the love that exists, the love that you give.
