Love like a fairy tale
My first ever experience with love and it's not like what I was taught as a child
Obsession rules me like a tell-tale heart
And I express my love like those short stories of happiness
As her forgotten love cuts deep like the scars on her pale white wrists
And although I look her in her Alice-in-Wonderland blue eyes
And tell her she is the most stunning princess of my life
She misunderstands me as though i'm the mirror in her bedroom
She looks right through my words and sees only what she despises
My first ever experience with love and it's not like what I was taught as a child
A world of perpetual judgement metastasizes in her brain
Never did she she know that chivalry has yet to depart
Corruption from the monotonous manipulative fools she once called her prince
Used and thrown away like a silk tissue paper she was left transcluently fragile
All she wanted was the tactile touch of warm soft flesh
To her I'm prince charming and to me she my Annabel Lee
With our love both naive and cynical
My first ever experience with love and it's not like what I was taught as a child
She so experienced with relationships, yet not know of true love
I that know only the cliche tales of love, yet unfamiliar with relationships
In truth teenage love is what you make it, like many fairy tales tis but a story
But whether the story is worth reading is to be decided
So I decide to read her a tale, to love her like she has never been loved before
As she has always wanted to be loved
And Although she is just another girl equally deserving of a love like a fairy tale
She is my first ever experience with love and it's not like what I was taught as a child
