Love at first song.

When I produce a song I consider myself an artist When I sing a verse or two I'm a performer that just harvest But when I write that verse or poem extending talent limits longer I'm not just simply a writer, no, I am now a complete author Because everyone's life is a story with verses and hooks And the phases, times, and people we go through are chapters inside those books A painter will see pain and will draw pictures that are visible A writer like me sees pain, and we draw it, but in syllables They let you see pain, they let you know in depth I let you hear pain, I let you feel it's strength I write because there's thoughts in my head revolving like there's no end So I draw and organize them in phrases with paper and pen Sit me in front of crickets and tell me to draw the image I don't have the capability to paint and give the picture printed But what I can do is write and precisely depict it vivid I can add vibrant colors with words and draw every inch of what's listed When I write I'm an author I'm a painter I'm indescribable I'm able to make art with precision and leave each picture definable There's people born blind who have never seen the sun, they only feel it And even the best artist in the world can't draw a picture so they can see it No one can draw the perfect picture for them, no one in this Earth But I can let a blind man see the whole world with the touch of one verse Because writing holds power that can destroy and create Writing holds power to break, take and make Look at a picture of a tear and you'll leave in perfect health Listen to a verse about a tear and you'll walk away with tears yourself Painters make a sketchbook and over time build up an arftul Like I said I write a book, and over time create a novel Poems that tell timelines, poems that tell lifelines Poems that can describe in one verse a whole lifetime Because I can't draw but I sure as hell can write I can paint every picture in words and sentences right Every syllable and rhyme placed on the right line I have cried and I have laughed as I spell things from my mind Every thought is analyzed every thought has been described Every thought has been inscribed every thought is visualized Because you can't show the blind the sun by holding up a picture But describe with words the sun and they will quickly find a figure Because you can't draw chapters to the full potential they hold They have way too many feelings too intriguing and must be told Stories that can't unfold if they are shown in simple colors Stories that I wrote in notes and had to be sung in covers I write because it is the form of art that God gave me Because problems we're drowning me and writing is what saved me You can draw a picture but can't save it if it is burned You can turn a poem to ashes but forever remember it's words That is why I write, it's form of art which you can't do wrong You don't have to be good to express it all and be strong I was 5 years old when I said this art is lifelong It wasn't love at first sight, it was love at first song.
