Love for the First Time
terrified, I let his troubled words trouble me, I felt my virtue shrink every time he called me “pretty girl”
His touch was soft, but rough, gentle, but strong, warm, but cold and slowly it killed me.
The feeling still creeps down my spine as i get flashbacks that only come with a rewind.
He savored me when things went his way, but I was never his lover, I was his prey.
Never did i know what my two feet were standing for, yet unsuspectingly i played his messy little game. I protest still, that i was merely his target, not his whore.
I lost my innocence to a stranger that i knew better than the back of my hand, but worse, i lost the child that was once me and this she would not understand.
Now do not be fooled, this broken heart still beats and my scarred eyes still seek, for he did not defeat me, but only left me to grief his monstrosity.
He marked me with his sin and build into me a crime, but once the tears that i have cried dry, i’ll learn how to love for the first time.
