Love.. A funny word

They say hate is a strong word

But I believe that, that is absurd

What about love?

Thats a word most people speak of

But it holds so much meaning

You can't just go saying that word, that would be demeaning

You say that word in time

Its like going up a mountain trying to climb

There are so many steps to take

If you skip to the top it could cause ache

But like a mountain you have to go down 

You can't stay at the top always renown 

Sometimes you are able to stay at the top forever

That doesn't mean you will slip and fall however

But its your choice to go back up or stay on solid ground 

Love is a funny thing it can really astound

With time and patience love is there

It can truly take you anywhere
