That is the love of God!

In a world filled with fear Anxiety and despair There is only one thing, I Hold dear to my heart. In a world with such a polluted atmosphere Not just physical but spiritual, People rely on things which are unclear But there is only one thing which I fear, Yet I love but will never depart That is the love of God! When I am alone and sad, Or when I am in need of directions, God showers me with his protection. Undeserving is what I truly am, Yet he loves me and for that, I am truly glad! That is the love of God! You ask me what I can’t live without, I speak for the other martyrs who, Gave up their life for him, Only because they know without a doubt That he is willing to his life again give So that we must live And cleanse us from all sin So that we may have peace within I now say that it is because of God’s grace When my live is in turmoil and sin He wraps me in his everlasting arms That is the love of God!
