The Love Hate Relationship

Writing is like a love hate relationship

You keep on telling yourself that you will never

Ever

EVER

As long as the sky remains blue

Have feelings for him

You tell everyone that you hate the guy and could never love him

However,

Deep down inside,

You have unexplainable and unavoidable feelings for him

Soon when you go home, you begin to look forward to the next encounter

You can’t wait to see him

To hear his voice

To feel his touch

To just be in his presence

Ohhh how your heart flutters when you hears his name

                                                                                                                                                                                                   Poetry

I write because I have unexplainable joy when the words leave my lips

My mind thinks poetically

Poetry runs through my veins

No matter how much I try to deny my feelings for poetry

I cannot let them go

This is why I write

I am married to poetry

 In sickness

In health

In hardship

Till death do us part
