Love Her

He shouldn't have

But he couldn't stop

Told himself

To look away

But couldn't control it

The way her hair would sway

When she moved

Falling down her back

The way she talked back

How she laughed

Her smile

He had no right

But that night

Watching those green eyes

Come alive

He couldn't help

But love her

He told himself

She wasn't his

He reminded himself

Over and over

But he couldn't help it

Impossible to get over

That smile

That laugh

The sound in his head

Can feel her heat

As he lays in bed

Tossing and turning

A fire burning

Please

He prayed

Please let me have her

One night

One night isn't enough

But give me just enough

To wash it clean

To set me free

Help me

Look away

From that gold hair sway

Down her back

The way she walks

And talks

I love it all

Help me

Save me before I fall

Because I just can't help

But love her

She laughed

And he came apart

She walked off

With his heart

In her hand

She belongs to someone else

But he can't help it

Can't resist

That smile

Those green eyes

The way she pulls him in

With one word

The sound of his name

Rolling off her tongue

So he prayed again

Please

Please

Let me get what I want

Let me have her

One night

Isn't enough

But just give me enough

I need to know

One night

Then I'll let her go

But please

Save me

Help me

And tell me

How can I do anything

But love her
