A Love Like His

My past is less than perfect

But the pain was forever worth it.

I may not be the same,

Thanks to all the pain.

However, that changed me for the better,

Now I know to never settle

For a love, less perfect than his.

He accepted me broken,

And made me whole again.

I have never quite felt this way.

I have never had someone strive to make my day.

His life goal is my happiness,

God, I pray he is here to stay.
