Love holds on
"I had loved you in as many different ways that I could. I held my own hand in hope for some feeling of you. And some days I would feel you traveling through all of my open organs until you got trapped in my lungs, and I could no longer breathe. Still, I'd lie there on the grass at night looking up to the open sky trying to find some sort of sign of you. And I'd play music and hope it'd travel through the air and through the cement walls but somehow, still reach you. And some days I remember when I lost you. I remember how I cried and how much it hurt. But we molded back just like clay with beauty in the ash of its cracks. You sort of were everything that I lived for. And I hoped that eventually, as the ones you loved dropped out of your life, one by one, you realized that I was never going to be one of them. I just want you to know that I would always stay."
