Love with Impunity

Rhetorical questions bounce off the walls like a game of middle school prison dodge ball

There’s lots of motion, but rarely do these projectiles ever reach their target.

They are elusive, you see.

It seems that the harder one tries to answer the questions of life

The more the answers elude them.

This high speed chase is nothing more than a waste of energy.

The solution has been patiently waiting this whole time, in the corner of the room.

Silently staring, a wry smile forming at the corner of its lips.

It’s love.

Newton’s Third Law states that “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”

So when will we realize that this doesn’t just apply to physical science?

Love begets love, hate begets hate

This is a concept that should be innate to the human experience

Yet we struggle to grasp it and apply it to our daily lives.

This is what must change.

Love with impunity,

For it is all you have to give.
