Love is the Key

Love is the key.

I want it,

I need it,

so just let it be.

There's nothing more beautiful and

nothing more free

than the warmth of it surrounding the earth like the sea.

Love is universal,

It is not just one thing,

It flies through the air and makes me want to sing.

Love is my joy, my sweet melody.

The one thing I can't live without; an easy remedy.

Love is careful,

Love is kind,

Love is patient

Love is blind.

If anyone can have it then I should have it too.

Not even for a second will that ever not be true.

I'll love it like it loves me

It just has so much to give,

From day one it controlled me,

It's the purpose through which I live

Knowing that I have a passion

Seeking what I'm meant to prove

Letting love define me

Is greater than the truth.

Love:

My rock that keeps me safe and sound.

A beautiful companion that I've always had around.

I won't let it go nor will I ever try.

It's been there for me and it will be until the day I die.
