Love to Last a Lifetime

Take my hand in yours my love,
oh wont you take a walk.
No need for words, so sweet you speak.
No need to even talk.

I listen to you breath so deep.
You take in the perfume,
of earth so green from rains in spring.
The roses, vibrant, bloom.

The sun still brands these ivory sands,
the blue sky catches fire.
This earth is where our roots met land,
where summer sparks alit desire.

My heart unmanned, as love unplanned
would swallow up the sea.
And all the stars a heavens spanned
were reborn in you for me.
