Love Leaves Residue

Although I have moved on like the evolution of time
I stand confident in the decision we've come upon
My heart remains strong in the departure, though friends you don't want to be.
I remember the times when laying there looking at the ceiling as if it was a newly formed galaxy creating right before my eyes.
See, I envisioned us as heavenly.
What I'm trying to say it although we were there, lying in each others arms; it felt as if it was a out of body experience with you.
I felt as if you were an escaped angel that fled from the heavens, just to be here with me.
You were my exhaling moment.
Now, I close my eyes and I hold on to the thoughts of the softness of your skin, the slant of your eyes, to the movement of your thighs, even the smell of Victoria's Secret after you've left the room.
You were my drug, and I was gladly to addicted to you.
Having enough was unthought of.
Now as I sit here in the cornered room, sitting in the very corner, I wonder...I wonder what's going through you mind?
I know I should walk away a leave well enough alone.
See, I'm in this situation...and...I think you are in this situation...and I wouldn't want to endanger anymore hearts.
Wow! I'm daydreaming about the smile on your lips, the feeling of me wrapping my arms are around you, trying to breathe deep and inhale some of you inside of me...just so I can take you with me everywhere I go.
I deeply apologized for walking away...what was I thinking.
I shouldn't be even writing this; as a child of God, you shouldn't reside in parts of heart like this.
So, all I can say is with the complete honesty, trust of my own heart; when real love comes and it saturates you heart...it sometimes leaves residue.
