Love Letter

I don’t know where I’m at or where I’m going all I know is I want you there. Right next to me. I want it all. The good the bad and the ugly. To catch you when you fall. To hug you when you’re sad. To make you happy when you’re mad. To rock you to sleep and forever keep you in my arms. I want you when you’re sick, when you want nothing but darkness, I will be your flashlight. When you only want to write, let me be your journal. When you want to die, let me be your medic. When you want contrast, I’ll be the white to your black. The rock to your rap. The foundation to your sky scrapper. When you want to be in love I will be your lover. If you want to deny yourself and all that you stand for. I won’t be there. But I’ll be waiting… Kyle Essex

Hey, I am a college student. I am a Phys Ed Major exercise science minor and music minor. For hobbies I sing, play guitar, and I am a Speed skater. I use poetry as an outlet primarily for love and depression. Poetry has been my safe outlet when I get under, but I am still here strong and continue to write.
