Love Letter

The last time I saw you

Your body was pale blue.

Your wrists slit

With candles lit.

In a bath covered with blood.

Now that room still with hardened crud.

Your gentle lips were frozen in despair.

How could you leave me? We were the perfect pair.

The blade was to your right.

My knees fell on the floor with all my might.

My sweet love has gone.

Now I lay bare in our lawn.

Our fairytale was taken away.

So I cut my wrists today.

It’s an ever going cycle you’ve made.

Our bodies were thrown away in the shade.

Toes tagged,

Bodies dragged.

How could you do this to me?

You left in such a flee.

Now we can be together.

I know we will forever.

Because of my blood and yours,

We will dance on the sandy seashores.

Our spirts are now conjoined,

Because our lives were purloined.
