Love Letters
For me love letters will never go out of style, they remind of the love I bled onto blank pages but never sent to the subject I spoke about.
Writing my feelings for you was far better than confronting them because every time I looked into your eyes a mist of anxiety gloomed upon me and reminded me that love doesn't survive in the real world
It's better left to live out in the fairytales of books and ink on pages.
Don't take this wrong way, ive always wanted to send them to you and confess my feelings for you but my legs could never make to the mail box and my tongue had no courage to ask someone to do it for me, what good is an action if it doesn't come from the heart
So that's where you reside, in this introverted heart of mine that had too much social anxiety to walk up to you in a crowd and say Hi
And moments later I'd call myself a fool because I missed many chances to one to just come and speak to you
Now you'll never know how I feel about you, you can't respond to letters that I never mailed confessing my love for you.
One day i hope to get the courage to mail them, but until then I wish all the letters that you recieve have what you're looking for, even if it's not me.
