Love Letters to Him

I told you I loved you and that wasn't enough

I conquered the world for you and  that still wasn't enough

I gave you my virtue the one thing that made me an innocent women

And you spit in my face

Like I was yesterdays news

You left me out there longing for you

On an island  isolated by my pain

But F*CK IT because you live and you learn

What's even better is that I lived and forgot all about you

Im am an  independent self sufficient women

With goals and dreams hashtag that can you believe

Love is a drug that gives you a high like no other

But when you fall from the clouds it leaves you there

Heart shattered in despair

And who can repair the heart of an innocent girl who was just left there ?

But learn from my experience and cherish your heart

When all else fails don't be naive from the start.

Because thats how you play the game so be safe from the start.
