Love Lost
I'm trapped in a cold and dark room where I can feel the walls closing in and the roof caving in crushing every bone in my body leaving me no where but in the air that you breathe.
Tucked away in a crack that you constantly step on and burned in the fire that you set to hide the pain and suffering that you left in my broken heart.
I'm crushed, i'm hurt... You left me with so much agony refusing to be the painkiller to my pain that just wont seem to go away.
You left me... Laying there on the cold floor of the dark room crying out to you because who said that love wouldn't be there for you whenever you needed it the most.
Well, whoever said that lied. Love is just another word that people cant seem to stop abusing.
If you ask me, that word you call love is just so confusing.
Help me understand the meaning behind it, the real reason why people get so anxious to find it.
Help me understand how could you love me but hurt me. Tell me that you adore me but always seem to ignore me.
I grew up in a world so cold... So cold that my heart turns to ice when another man claims to have loved me... but never failed to put that frown on my face while I wish that that frown was a smile that only a man who loves me would love to see consistently.
Why must you do this to me, I treat you like a king with in return to only be your queen.
But instead you treat me like your servant whose suppose to bow down to your every need, well see I'm not that type of girl to spoil a man who doesn't deserve a dime from me.
