Love Lost
To be in love is to be vulnerable and to show someone every part of you the flaws, insecurities, the good and the bad.
You used them against me.
Maybe it wasn't love, but lust and infatuation, and painful desperation for intimacy and attention that kept us together.
We are not in love, we never were.
We were so afraid of being ,
Of being alone and being lost and having no one to tell our fears to.
I loved you and I still do, but we were never in love.
I don't believe that you know how to love.
