Love Lost

Ecstasy

You were my drug

I was walked all over like a rug

Fantasy

Time passes slowly when your lost in a dream

Felt like Leo, I was in multiple dreams

Endless

What your affection required was something grand

The task was as arduous as counting every grain of sand

Finally

I loved you and you loved me eternally

Everything was perfect internally

Temporarily

For what was supposed to be everlasting

I couldn’t see how it was slowly passing

Finale

As the high wore off

I was abruptly woken up

Only to be at a funeral mourning what once was
