Love of Lost Souls

Sun, 06/02/2013 - 22:04 -- Biggie

Sit and think the things that have come.
All made for naught for there is nothing here,
What left is there to gain if you're already done?
All that you once had just watch disappear,
Feeling dropped on your back weighing a ton.
The love is now gone and replaced by fear,
For the new and the now has surely begun.
Starting anew after watching the heart sear.
All of the pieces falling one by one.

Perceiving trust so quick and shattered,
One wrong word, wrong time, wrong place.
Leaving lost souls torn and tattered,
Just wanting one simple needed embrace.
Instead abandoning and arms scattered,
Cannot find the drive not a single trace.
Chest so longing, so hurting, so battered,
The steps in the mind only wanting to retrace.
The Love of Lost Souls here now and left after.

We are free and alive today because of the sacrifices of our unnamed heros, and the love of their lost souls.
