Love is Love

I’m sorry that I find it unjust

To say they can’t marry the one that they love

So what if they are the same gender

That’s like saying they are both black or both white

Its unjust

Its just not right

This law, its just asking for that unlawful romance

Like Romeo and Juliet

A forbidden love

Against all odds, all laws

But we all know how that ended so well

For the lovers who loved

And eventually fell

All because of the rules that said that they shouldn’t

Anyone else find that not right?

People who love should be allowed to marry

And not forced to face down a fight

Love is a gift that can be found by many

Not restricted or forbidden

It shouldn’t matter what race or what gender

For love is love, it knows no bounds
