Love, love

CC BY
Love, love I love to love I told him I love to love, and I got asked what that means I mean I love to be in your presence I love looking at you To me you're not just human your art you're like a shooting star A rare sighting I get to see everyday I don't take for granted I love to talk specifically to you like when I talk to you, time freezes and I don't ever want you to go away. I said “you would never understand” And he said I do But with that I do it was the quickest way to get me to shut up To him I do in that context was looking at me like I'm just any regular star I see him as a Picasso painting, and he seen me as a drawing in pencil You say I do but your eyes tell a story of for now You love my touch and that's as far as it goes Love to you is a comment not a story Love to you is a week after knowing me a name you mix with lust In my eyes I do means I do take you to be the person I'm meant to be with Love is so powerful it’s a world of unlimited things There is no impossible with love My love is loud like colors colliding Like music that touches the soul My love is a masterpiece One of which not everyone should get A masterpiece never loses its value Just because the viewer wasn’t ready to understand the art I love to love But I love to be loved back too.
