Love, Love, Love
"Because I love you."
I lay acrosss the floor with colorful bruises scattered throughout my skin.
"Because I love you."
I'm hiding in our room from the demons you placed in my head.
"Because I love you."
My glass heart has shattered and there's a red trail of tears staining my cheeks.
NO.
Because you love me, the only color that should be seen is in the sky,
the one above our heads in which we kiss the night away.
Red should stain our lips from dancing together to the symphony of our heartbeats
as the stars dance within our eyes.
Because you love me, my dress should smell of you from when you hold me close
to bring warmth to my heart.
Because you love me, the roses you give me hold a thousand hopes and wishes for
our eternal love.
Love, love, love.
