Love Is, Love Is Not
Love is not an abundance of gifts nor is it lavish outings.
Love is the rainy days stayed in, clutching eachother in your arms.
Love is not empty promises nor is it fights so deafening, that they make the entire house tremble.
Love is giving all you have with nothing expected in return.
Love is not inflicting intentional pain or torment on someone, nor is it ignoring them, making them feel as if they are nothing.
Love is two arms, making you feel at home.
Love is trust and love is communication.
Love is all of the wide toothed smiles and open mouthed laughs and heaps of silly faces.
Love is accepting one another for who they truly are, wanting nothing to change.
Do not get misguided by fake love. Love is not passwords, love is not making excuses as to why they hurt you, love is not staying in because they told you to.
Knowing the difference between love and what love is not is tricky, but remember, someone telling you that they love you and them actually loving you are two very different things.
