Love is... Love was
They say love is patient and love is kind. But I say love is when, when you were all mine.
Love is the laughter that cracks opent the walls of your chest and make you feel free.
And feel that peace.
Love is the moment when you realize the way her hair falls briskly into her face as she sleeps.
Love is the long endless talks in parked cars late at night.
Love is selflessness.
Love is the way he makes the hair on the nape of your neck stand on edge whenever he's near.
Love is putting her above yourself.
Love was the day that I met you.
Our love was bigger than us.
Our love was strong.
Our love was powerful.
Our love was you.
You know what they say love is patient and love is kind. But I thought love was when you were mine.
But I guess that kind of love takes time.
Love is patient and love is kind, and i guess this time around you're no longer mine.
So I look myself in the mirror and say.
Hey you its your time to shine.
