love /ləv/ noun.

Tell me that you love me.

Tell me that I look good

on my girl days.

on my boy days.

Tell me, “Tell me all your dreams

because I know you love to say them.”

Tell me Amy’s birthday is on Friday

because I still forget the date

after 10 years of friendship.

Tell me to find myself before finding you.

Show me that you love me.

Hold my hand

until our palms get sweaty

then let go because who likes it when it’s wet?

Buy me a Ring

Pop.

We’ll save the money for tickets to the band that play our song-

the one that makes me warm as it sparks the memory of you.

I know that you love me.

I can cry into your arms.

I can waste your ears.

You can say the same for me.

I love you.
