love me

“If I were to show you my true colors would you love me?

Would you find me as admirable as before?

I feel myself trying to fit into your mold

The mold to please you, to make you proud

Love me, I am desperately searching for love.”

this was who I was.

I was looking for the love from others, but it was always right in front of me.

I just chose not to acknowledge it

We fear that no one loves us, but we fail to see the daily acts of love always displayed

you are loved
