Love me, Leave me
Love, a word that has been watered down
to mean absolutely nothing.
When said its like wind blowing in the sky
filled with lies, waitng for real love to come by.
Kiss, drink, beat , sleep
thats all he does to me.
Each slap is like a kiss he says,
Till death do us part, indeed
but thats not my destiny.
To be with a man who gives me securty
inexchange for my body.
"Becasue I love" is always his reply
once again, waiting for real love to come by.
Day after Day I think my loyalty will make him change,
regretting the days I should've stayed in school
becoming a nurse is something I always wanted to do.
Instead trapped in the cage of deception
not receiving any reception, from loved ones,
who tried to warn me
but I blocked them out
never to be heard about.
Like me, if continue to stay
why do I stay?
"because I love him"...no
not anymore,
I deserve more,
a man to call my own.
I am not a punching bag.
I am a women.
A woman who seeks care and honesty from a man
why can he just understand.
So now I must leave him, for if I stay I might committ
a horrible crime
This is my prime, my genesis,
if he ask why I left and thinks I'm a fool
tell him I left his forsaking self, "because I love you"
