Love me tomorrow

My heart is a monster Lives in my rib cage Like a lion in the wilderness I'm searching for my next stage Where will I make my home tonight I wonder to myself And as the evening flickers to a close I put your heart on my shelf Sweet sweet salvation Awaits all those that ask But I would never bend a knee Pucker up and kiss that ass Cuz a lifetime of tomorrows Ain't worth a single yesterday Cuz no man never gave me nothin That i could love anyway My mind is a liar Singing songs to my heart Of forgotten melodies Meant to tear my soul apart And when the last note has faded And I'm alone in the dark Hearing nothing only waiting Peaceful slumber calls my heart Take my hand Hold my heart Love me today Love me tomorrow
