Love of Mine
I’ve seen the bad,
I’ve seen the ugly.
before you, I was a nomad,
but you seem to love me.
every time I push you away,
you never budge.
and at the end of the day,
you’re not one to judge.
I’ve never met someone so willing to accept,
this mess of mine.
even when I’ve wept,
you’re there every time.
learning to forgive is difficult,
but you make everything easy.
you tell me everyday I’m atypical,
well I think you make me wheezy!
