Love in Motion

when i look out at the sea

the endless

(endless)

sea. i am filled up to the brim.

(wanting. desiring you like the crest of a wave desires the shore.)

sweet surrender and endless motion

a never ending changing, ephemeral, and constant

oh so constant

(stagnation)

because while desires come and go

(like the tide)

and i ride the waves

(endlessly)

you prefer to drop anchor in the safe harbor of a bay

never moving

(dormant. stationary. the antithesis of life.)

and while the sea can want the shore

we my darling

we can never be together for all the wanting in the world
