Love Muscle

My brain is a muscle, but why doesn’t it

push back against you?

You make me stutter, you make my heart flutter, so

what’s the matter?

It’s a big thing, I suppose, so big it makes

my ears ring

It makes my heart sing

It makes my emotions fling back and

forth, back and forth

Back and forth into a comfortable rhythm, sit

back and listen

to the words I’m about to bear

Are you ready for it? Are you prepared?

Do you need to go outside and

get some fresh air?

Well here it is, folks, sit back and relax

This love is here to stay, so push

forward and rejoice
