Love from My Frienemy

I hate your ways but still feel love My heart is heavy and my voice grows soft I want to get away but I never feel alone Your loving sacrifice gave me a home Why is it that I've grown weary? How is it that I'm now lame? Is it the rod that I have felt? Or the staff that has kept me going? Either way your presence keeps on showing Your hands persistently hold me But from some motive I jump off I want to say “I feel no love” But it’s a lie if I met the God above
