Love Never Dies

The first time we met was in the classroom
He asked for a pencil and smiled
I strangely felt my heart bloom
I gave him my number, and he dialed

Getting  to know one another
And going out on dates
Trusting him like he’s my brother
Always showing up fashionably late

Hearts racing, palms sweating, and we’re all out of words
Late night talks, watching the sun rise
While the clouds soar with the birds
As we all know, love never dies

The bond of two people together
Brings happiness in both their lives
Holding each other strong forever
Through laughs, secrets and cries

Love truly does exist
It’s all around
Something we can’t miss
Once we clearly feel that love bound

My heart goes BOOM, BOOM
Always get that crazy rush
Pupils dilate, larger, zoom
You are way more than a crush

I don’t know what it is that you do
I love the way you make me feel
There is no one out there like you
What we have is a done deal
